Fresh off some big Golden Globes wins, “Million Dollar Baby” seems poised
for Oscar success...but not everyone is pleased with the boxing
flick-cum-snuff film.

Absolutely excellent article Mickey...I’ve been pondering a response??? The
only one I can think of, we’re all dis-abled in some way...physically,
metaphysically.
Some of us want to live, others do not. Some of us want to heal from our
wounds we acquire from living in this sick society. Others don’t know they
are wounded.
Many can’t figure out what living is and if living dead is worse than dead,
dead. As for Eastwood, with all his money, he could be sponsoring many
things more wholesome than his movies offer.
If he has what he considers any worthwhile message in his movies, I would
suggest he just bankroll someone who can convey these social issues to
impact a greater awareness for the audience.
Now back to my piano music and my Cuban cigar…
