Poems that rhyme, May Day, my Bluestockings event, & math problems from Hell
The Set-Up:
A fighter pilot travels east in an F-16 at Mach 2.05
A corporate CEO travels west in a golf cart at 15 MPH
A politician travels south in a limo at 65 MPH
A holy man travels north by foot at 5 MPH
The Question:
Which one will get to Hell first?
(insert rimshot here)

12-Gauge
Mickey Z. sez:
I’m ridin’ shotgun as Apocalypse nears
Born in a country handcuffed by its fears
Born in a country which gave me a choice
To follow my heart or surrender my voice
I’m ridin’ shotgun in the land of the free
Drowned out by cell phones and blaring TV
I’m playing Cassandra in the home of the brave
Battling denial with a planet to save
I’m ridin’ shotgun, getting meaner by the day
Feelin’ like roadkill on the information highway
I’m low on money in this coast-to-coast mall
Dreaming of a soft place to cushion the fall
Who wants to write us a rhyming poem in the comments section?
