Radical zombies, Supreme Court choices, Johnny Rotten speaks, and my "sold out" July talk

Saw “Land of the Dead” the other day. A zombie flick with a social message. If you can stomach the over-the-top gore, it’s quite a parable on what passes for reality these days.

Speaking of skewed reality, did anyone get the memo explaining when and how Alberto Gonzalez became a “moderate”?

On the topic of moderates, here’s a quick follow-up on the earlier Live 8 discussion. Some words from the lovable Johnny Rotten:

“Anyone who’s parading under a $100,000-plus video is not free from corporate. That’s just the MTV advertising agency. I find them all to be just a bit of a sham.”

For something that is “free from corporate,” I was gonna give one more nudge toward my July 9 talk at the The Foundations of a Movement Conference...but i just learned that it’s sold out.
