Required reading?

My friend Gina Ranalli recently started a thread on the Bizarro forum that went like this: “Name a book you’ve never read and feel kind of ashamed about it. For me: Brave New World.”

I replied: “I just read Trout Fishing in America so it’s no longer that. Maybe Gravity’s Rainbow?”

So...what about you? Is there a book you always felt you were supposed to read but you still haven’t gotten around to it? If so, you can post your neglected classics in the comments section.
