“The notion that porn, and sex work in general, exploits women is really just conservative misogyny disguised as ‘feminism.’ No credible feminist in this day and age still campaigns against sex work, although there are still some ideological throw-backs that blather on about it. I’ll never understand why old school ‘feminism’ was so interested in restricting the choices of women, telling them what to wear, how to ####, how to express themselves, and how they are allowed to dress. That school of ‘feminism’ has more in common with the nutters who bomb abortion clinics and people who say that a raped woman deserved it because she dressed too sexy.”

“The point of view that sex work exploits women hinges on the idea that women are stupid, helpless, feeble creatures who can’t be allowed to make decisions for themselves. In reality, women are smart, strong, and powerful people who don’t need a bunch of nannies telling them to put on a shawl ‘for their own good.’”
