Italy just can't get enough of me (and here come the blurbs)

On the heels of Italian translations of both “A Gigantic Mistake” and “Saving Private Power,” I’m about to sign a deal that will bring “The Seven Deadly Spins” to the land of my father’s birth.

Beyond the usual “Europe is more open-minded than America” spiel, I’m not exactly sure why Italy is so enthusiastic about my writing.

Theories, anyone?

Another bit of news: I just got my first blurb published on Josh Frank’s brand new book: “Left Out: How Liberals Helped Reelect George W. Bush.”

Order here: http://www.brickburner.org/index.html
Interview with Josh here: http://lefthook.org/Interviews/ZeeseFrank060805.html

I said:  “Like the voice who cried ‘the emperor has no clothes,’ Joshua Frank provides no quarter to the guilty as he peels away layer after layer of the paint of propaganda ... laying bare the myths and mendacity that fuel the American political machine. Left Out! is a wake-up call for anyone still clinging to the futile, desperate hope that the future exists within our alleged two-party system. Like a modern-day I.F. Stone, Joshua Frank is ruthless when necessary but his compassion and honesty are never in doubt.”

Coming soon: Blurb #2 on Dave Zirin’s book, “What’s My Name, Fool? Sports and Resistance in the United States.”
