Lead in toys - the whole truth?

Here’s an excerpt from an item I just got posted on Dogma:

It’s not so much that the corporate media lies...although it’s not above simple mendacity. More typically, the story usually lies in what’s not said. Take the self-congratulatory CBSNews.com item, “Lead Toys Continue To Be Sold” (Dec. 16, 2004). We’re told, right from the first sentence, how CBS News, “alerted the government to the problem of dangerous amounts of lead in vending machine toys” last May. A recall of 150 million pieces of jewelry followed...but the danger still exists and CBS is shocked, shocked to learn they’ve been deceived.
