Meet Sander Hicks

Michele and I are off to Connecticut to see our friend Sander Hicks marry Holley Anderson. Here’s the happy couple:



As founder of Soft Skull Press, Sander gave me my first chance at having a book published: “Saving Private Power: The Hidden History of ‘The Good War’” in 2000. Next year, Sander’s new company, Vox Pop, will re-release that book in paperback (with a new name, new cover, and new intro...so stay tuned).

On a related note, “Horns and Haloes,” a documentary about Sander is now available on DVD...and is highly recommended.
