Mickey Z. Update: writing grant, new column, and book #6
Great news: I just learned this week that I’ve been awarded a 2005 writing grant from the Puffin Foundation (http://www.puffinfoundation.org). The foundation’s mission is “continuing the dialogue between art and the lives of ordinary people.”
This is my second grant from them (first one in 2002) and I’d like to publicly thank Puffin for their support.
More good news: I will soon start writing a column for an Astoria/Long island City-based arts publication called Ins & Outs (http://www.licmagazine.com). More on this as it develops…
And stay tuned for word on my sixth book deal...from Disinformation Books.
