My last post until Feb. 25
Michele and I are off to visit family for a few days. So, let me say thanks for all the great discussions lately. Now, I leave you with some postings of the random variety:
The other day, I cut through Central Park and ended up under Christo’s costly installation, “The Gates.” Thousands of bright orange shower curtains hanging from orange girders...so to speak.
The little kid in me said: “Look at me, I’m walking under The Gates. Orange you glad Christo did this.”
The cynical New Yorker in me said: “Big deal. Give me $20 million and I’ll show you some goddamned art.”
The radical in me said: “Funny how Central Park is so receptive to overpriced art spectacles...but not so open to peaceful demonstrators during the Republican Convention.”

If you haven’t done so already, do yourself a favor and check out the pictures from our Operation Bolivia effort: http://www.transcend.ws.
While at Rich’s site, please sign up for his forum. We hope to make that a meeting place of sorts for future brainstorming, activism, and solidarity. We impacted some lives in Bolivia and have no intention of stopping.
See you in a week, you knuckleheads…
