New article, new mouse, new Texas plans
Are you stunned that Newsweek got it wrong? It would be major news if anyone in the corporate media reported a story accurately. Even if the specifics of that particular toilet flush incident were off, why would anyone doubt that American soldiers are capable of atrocious behavior? Perhaps such blind faith grows out of the good guy image GI’s allegedly earned after World War II. Why allegedly? For one of many reasons, read on.

I finally got a new joystick mouse yesterday (thanks to Harry) and it looks like this:
It’s quite an adjustment...but my choices are limited: This contraption or going left-handed with a traditional mouse.

Update on my Mom and my trip to Texas will be posted ASAP. It’s been a frustrating and infuriating American health care system experience (am I being redundant?) but I think I’m finally flying out tomorrow or Friday.
