Support our (sic) mercenaries...I mean, our (sic) troops

There are over 40,000 “defense consultants” taking part in the occupation of Iraq. They include embassy guards, personal bodyguards, guards for the oil infrastructure, etc...and they’re employed by companies like Blackwater and Halliburton. “The U.S. government hires them to solve problems and relive the army,” explains Al Venter, author of WAR DOG: Fighting Other People’s Wars. (Some mercenaries can earn up to $150,000 per year.)

So, I have a question for the liberals: Should we be supporting these troops, too?
