The long ride home
The snowstorm in New York delayed our flight home. This resulted in us spending more time in the airport than is humanly tolerable.
Under a malodorous cloud of junk food stench as the ever-increasing cell phone conversations got louder and louder, I found myself musing: Doesn’t the Constitution protect us from cruel and unusual punishment?
At one point, Michele commented to me: “I feel like I’m in a Sue Coe painting.”
Time to play catch-up for a day or two...but first, let me send a big thank you to everyone who has been burning up the comments section here.
