This is The End
No, I’m not gonna post something about Jim Morrison. They call Montauk “The End” (as in “the end” of Long Island) and that’s where Michele and I are going for a few days...unless Hurricane Charley has other plans for us.
As a Montauk-related aside, someone posted my lastet article at the NYC Indy Media site and this has provoked a predictable flurry of anger. You might appreciate the Hamptons references. Seems I’ve become a rich man overnight.
I wish people would actually read my stuff (with even a modicum of attention and open-mindedness) before attacking me. Debate is often an excellent learning tool for all involved.
Oh well...see you in a few days.
