"Where’s Liz been?”
A Storytelling Saturday re-run of sorts
Once upon a time...
I worked in a ritzy health club and one of my regular clients was a young woman named Liz. When Liz started law school, she missed some time in the gym. Her absence did not go unnoticed...and soon a friend asked me: “Where’s Liz been?”
Without hesitation, I replied: “Portugal.”
Felt pretty damn good about myself, too…
