Always do the right thing

  1. I think the photo of the man on the stoop talking to the younger man is absolutely great!

We need to stop recycling this medieval political system. Grind it up, shred it, burn it. Repeat this process to be sure.

  2. I didn’t take that photo, Joe. It’s from the movie, Do the Right Thing.

  3. Every little helps...or...every little helps us keep ourselves sane whilst we head to total ecocide. Either way it’s not a waste of time.

On the news today (I saw a few minutes of ITV (ITN) News), they followed a new soldier doing his first tour of “duty” in Afghanistan.
I wondered, what’s the moral difference between a British soldier and a soldier of the Taliban? There’s no moral difference. To say that a Taliban soldier is “Just doing his job, and is risking his life..so you should support him” would sound insane.
I got sent a chain email about taking pity on the troups who sleep in uncomfortable conditions etc...it’s only cos I keep a bit quiet at work that someone would even dream of emailing that!

Recently someone said Hugo Chavez is “just going too far” and another person said how great it was that a military contractor was spending money on projects despite some students protesting. I kept quiet to safeguard my job...moral dilema scenario!!
The most political thing I’ve ever done at work was to refuse to quote for Bacardi’s offices, due to their links to anti-Cuban terrorism. People still mention that to me to highlight my extremism.

  4. Hi Mickey and Rick...Here’s a song from 1967...’Draft Morning’.

‘Sun warm on my face, i hear you
    Down below movin´ slow
    And it´s morning

Take my time this morning, no hurry
To learn to kill and take the will
    From unknown faces

Today was the day for action
Leave my bed to kill instead
    Why should it happen?’

And here we are, 44 years later, the same old shit, continuing our destruction of everything living and rewarding the wealthy white trash at the expense of planet earth.

I cannot find a vulgar enough term to appropriately describe how I feel about these sadistic pin-striped barbarians. These assholes are tripping over their saliva in an attempt to keep their lies consistent and this is impossible for the cunning liars.

  5. The town where I work is full of young teenage mums pushing prams...but the one in your photo Mickey (in the red coat and hat) can’t be much older than the baby!
