Waste Land

    Two of the largest Eagles I have ever seen and at close range, was at a dump site.

    I felt insult for them! Wasteland? The u.s. is the biggest cesspool on the planet.

  4. It’s a strange thing about our species that we seem so determined not to see bigger pictures.
    How much junk mail is in bins right now?
    When a war happens miles away, does it make a noise?

    Capitalism is wasteful, competition is wasteful.

    In the UK we used to have competition in the Fire Brigade service (many years ago). You’d put a symbol on your house to show which Fire Brigade you paid money to. If your neighbours house caught fire and they called out their Brigade...if the fire spread to your house too...the brigade would check if you were on their list. Wasteful.

    There was a programme on TV ages ago about people getting their identities and bank details stolen. They decided to follow people’s litter. The bank documents had been thrown in the bin, put in a crate, transported to Indonesia!..ready to be dumped in a hole. The crazy thing was that we exported so much rubbish.

    You give us cheap labour and natural resources, and we’ll give you military aid and litter!
    Deal???

    Rick, while I read your post, I envisioned many tubes, blood transfusions, the poor having the blood drained out of them so the billionaires could have more than they could ever use in 20 lifetimes...and this is accepted with almost zero objection. It’s killing for the entertainment factor alone. The ‘ I ‘ who is so needy, they are incapable of accepting their mother withdrawing them from her nipples.

    The more I think about this, the crazier is seems, the crazier I feel, and nothing changes so to bring about sanity.

  6. Is Obama and Chomsky’s high speed rail line to transport people to u.s. prisons more efficiently?

    Will the railroad ties be edible so that slave workers can eat them?

    Will the poor and jobless still be required to pay for the billionaire’s Bentley?

    Will the rail riders shoot all wildlife, during the ride for entertainment. Let’s bring back the good ole days for the wealthy and the reckless.

    Will the new high speed rail line be named the ‘Genocide Express’

  7. I love it, Joe. Even as the eco-system disintegrates, they’ll be planning a big ribbon-cutting spectacle to introduce the high speed rail (and keep us distracted).
